Finally, the big day has come. The VIVO IPL T20 2021 second phase started with a bang after the global pandemic COVID-19 hit the world. Everything has become normal now, and the first match was held between MI Vs. CSK. The Chennai Super Kings won the match against Mumbai Indians.

Earlier, CSK won the toss and elected to bat first. With the tremendous bowling performance from the pace-duo Trent Boult and Milne, Chennai started with 7-3 in just over. During the match, a tweet “Hockey cal raha hai ya cricket” from Virender Sehwag, a former Indian cricket player, went viral on social media platforms. However, an impeccable knock from Ruturaj Gaikwad helped to boost the score and MI successfully controlled the scoreboard to 156 in 20 overs. IPL T20 2020 Milestones

The Indian Premier League 2020 had started with a bang. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the matches are held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). All the Indian and foreign players strictly followed the guidelines and wrapped in bio-bubble throughout the training session.

Bio-bubble is a secure sanitized area used for players to avoid physical contact and minimize the risk of a dreadful disease, Coronavirus. Before getting into the bi-bubble, the players and staff had to undergo COVID-19 tests. If the test is negative, they are allowed to play. Otherwise, they had to undergo treatment (usually takes 14-days or more) and be ready for the next match.

If you haven’t heard about the interesting stats of IPL 2020, read on to know more. The Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Mumbai Indians are in the top-4 list. The final match is held between the two tough teams, i.e. DC and MI. Delhi batted first and scored 156/7 in 20 overs. Mumbai were able to reach the target 157/5 in 18.5 overs. Woohoo!
